Day 3

Ski touring and end of the activity

2×4000 / 13123': From Capanna Gnifetti, ascend to Capanna Margherita (on Punta Gnifetti) at 4554m / 14941' and Punta Zumstein at 4563m / 14970', with an elevation gain of approximately 1000m / 3281'. Then, descend to Gressoney, a final stretch which involves an approximate elevation loss of 2700m / 8858'.

Day 1

Departure

Arrive or meet in Gressoney where you’ll ride the cable car to Punta Indren, which stands at 3275m / 10745' (tickets included). From Punta Indren, reach Capanna Gnifetti at 3647m / 11965' (with a 372m / 1220'ascent).
Your accommodation for the night will be the dormitory room in the Capanna Gnifetti hut.
Day 2

Ski touring

3x4000 / 13123': From Capanna Gnifetti, ascend to tackle your first trio of peaks: Ludwigshöhe at 4342m / 14245', Schwarzhorn at 4322m /14180', and Piramide Vincent at 4215m / 13829' (with an approximate elevation change of 1000m / 3281').
Your accommodation for the night will be the dormitory room in Capanna Gnifetti.

More information

Necessary equipement

Ski mountaineering equipment, backpack with spare clothes, harness, ice axe, crampons, avalanche transceiver (ARVA), shovel and probe, sleeping bag liner for the night, slippers, towel, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera.

If you don't have an ARVA, shovel and probe, Dolomite360 can supply this equipment for a small additional fee.
