Itinerary

Dolomite360 invites you to explore some of the most significant sites from the Great War and experience the unparalleled beauty of the Five Towers, one of the most iconic landmarks in the UNESCO-listed Dolomites.
Situated in a sun-drenched area within the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites and surrounded by trenches, posts, and restored emplacements, the striking Five Towers are easily recognizable from any angle.
Guided by one of our professional UIAGM / IFMGA certified mountain guides, this enjoyable, exciting, and safe snowshoeing adventure promises to reveal a pristine and stunning landscape that, just a century ago, was the site of some of the most intense battles of WWI.
The meeting point in Cortina d’Ampezzo is the Lino Lacedelli Indoor Climbing Centre, where you will meet your guide and receive your snowshoeing equipment.
After a short briefing, a transfer will take you to the Cinque Torri, where your adventure begins.
Following an easy and fun-filled morning, you’ll pause for lunch at one of the typical rifugios along the snowy slopes. If you’re not yet familiar with Ampezzo specialties, prepare to be amazed by the rich and authentic flavors of these traditional hand-made dishes.
After lunch, continue your excursion with the crunch of snow under your snowshoes, taking in the stunning panorama and crisp Dolomite air.
In the afternoon, return to Cortina d’Ampezzo in time to experience the town’s vibrant winter scene, known for its exclusivity and warm hospitality.
