Two days, two snowshoeing excursions

Dolomite360 invites you on a two-day snowshoeing adventure, one of the best and safest ways to experience the Dolomites in winter. Both outings included in this package begin in Cortina d’Ampezzo, at the Lino Lacedelli Indoor Climbing Centre. After meeting your professional UIAGM / IFMGA certified mountain guide, who will provide a short briefing, you’ll receive your snowshoeing equipment and set off on your daily excursion.

On day one, you will explore one of the most iconic landmarks of the Dolomites: the world-renowned Five Towers, nestled in the tranquil landscape of the Natural Park of the Ampezzo Dolomites. What was once a brutal World War I battlefield is now a natural sanctuary, whose pristine beauty is meticulously preserved by the strict regulations of the park.

Day two promises an unforgettable excursion at the foot of the majestic Cadini di Misurina, offering exceptional vistas of the Marmarole Group, Sorapiss, Croda dei Toni, Cristallo, and the Tofane Group. The scenery may differ from that of the Five Towers, but it is no less captivating.

Both excursions include a lunch break at a typical rifugio, where you’ll have the opportunity to savor the ancient and authentic flavors of Ampezzo, which reflect the mountain food traditions common throughout the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2009.

On both days, you’ll return to Cortina d’Ampezzo by mid-afternoon, which will allow you to enjoy the vibrant winter scene of this picturesque mountain town, surrounded by majestic peaks whose breathtaking beauty will be indelibly etched in your mind and heart.
