Explore a thrilling three-day itinerary in one of Italy's most captivating spots, where every experience translates into pure adventure. 
Welcome to Baunei, a charming hillside town perched 480 meters / 1575' above the sea, surrounded by 24000 hectares / 59305 acres of stunning landscapes featuring high plateaus, rugged mountains, and beautiful beaches.

  • Day 1

    3rd of October

    Meet in Santa Maria Navarrese (arrive with your own means; travel arrangements and costs are not included in the package).
    Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel Plammas.


  • Day 2

    4th of October

    Transfer by off-road vehicle from Santa Maria Navarrese to Piredda.
    Departure for Bacu Su Padente. This leg presents considerable challenges with its rugged terrain and numerous demanding mountain passages, featuring four rope-assisted descents measuring 15 and 23 meters / 49' and 75' respectively. However, it's also the most captivating stage, offering climbers the opportunity to access and explore otherwise inaccessible areas.

    Elevation gain: 600m / 1968' uphill and 700m / 2297' downhill

  • Day 3

    5th of October

    While less physically demanding, this part of the tour offers unforgettable scenery and presents some mountaineering challenges. You'll encounter several rope-assisted descents, ranging from 25 to 45 meters / 82' to 148' in length, as well as a series of climbs rated III and IV in difficulty, along with a short traverse.

  • Day 4

    6th of October

    At 8:30 in the morning, a jeep transfer will take you from Planu ‘e Murta to Ololbissi. From there, you'll first trek along a scenic mule path running parallel to the coast, and then you’ll descend via an ancient shepherd trail characterized by typical suspended juniper ladders. Within two hours, you'll arrive at Cala Biriala Beach, where a rubber dinghy awaits to ferry you to the quaint harbor of Santa Maria Navarrese.

    The return journey by rubber dinghy treats you to a 90-minute vista of a crag, featuring a solitary bastion adorned with petite beaches, caves, and spires.

    7th of October

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    For those interested, the morning offers the opportunity for rock climbing in the vicinity of Santa Maria Navarrese, with stunning views to enjoy.

Mandatory equipment
Harness*, via ferrata kit, helmet*, single backpack or carryall capable of holding all the equipment for transport in off-road vehicle/rubber boat max 15kg; daily backpack, sleeping bag, tent*, sleeping pad*, hiking boots to support the ankle, 2 liter water bottle or camel bag, headlamp, climbing shoes for the last day, cup, plate and cutlery (this avoids using disposable plastic, respecting the environment we will stay in. Everyone is responsible of the hygiene of their own cutlery: paper towels, biodegradable wet wipes, no detergents) lighter (to burn paper we will use for personal needs and leaving no traces along the trails).
